A few points of interest about the trailer. The custom built trailer was designed for long road trips between
races. The axle is rated at 3500 pounds and has electric brakes. The spare tire can be swiveled down for a load bearing trike
position. This feature is great for launching and retrieving the Santana 20 and reducing weight on the extension. The spare
tire is mounted on a matching hub and bearings for the axle. This feature gave us peace of mind that if we had a bearing failure
while on the road we could just simply mount the extra hub with new bearings in just a few minutes and be on our way. The
trailer's front bow support has a built in ladder and adjustable mast support. The tires are only two years old and in very
good shape. The electrical connection is the flat four standard trailer type. The hitch is a 2" bulldog rated at 5000 pounds.
The keel guide is covered with 3" Armaflex tubing and then covered with short nap carpet. I have pulled the Santana
20 at speeds of 75 MPH and was very comfortable at highway speed.

There are two genoas and two mainsails. The sails are in reasonably good condition, we considered one set as practice
sails, and the other good for club racing.
This boat was the fastest boat in (the now defunct) Fleet 38. It was last sailed two years ago, and was competitive
until the Fleet disbanded due to loss of water in the local lake. It should be ready to go.
